ESENLER SHOPPING CENTER - Istanbul

Renovation of an existing 6 storey office building as a shopping center in Esenler region and the building is at the middle of a city block, in between two streets. 9 x 21 meter atrium was formed, by cutting the slabs of the four axis at the middle of the building, on every floor and the roof of this part is covered by a skylight. The structural part of the building has been strengthened according to the new earthquake regulation of Istanbul. Existing stairs and elevators were kept in their original location and new escalators were located across them.

Shopping units are on the first four floors surrounding the courtyard and the upper floors are for entertainment purposes composed of 4 cinema saloons, 4 lane bowling, billard and a cafeteria. There are two food court areas, one at the ground floor and the other one is at the sixth floor, close to the cinema saloons. Elevations of the building were cladded by GRC panels manufactured according to our shop drawings.
