In the beginning of 1996 we were asked to design a housing compound composed of seven villas, in a 12 hectar land located next to the existing residance of The President Nazarbayev in Almaty. The land was divided in two parts and three villas will be located in the first and rest will be in the second part. Both parts will have a separate entrance from the main road, but connected to each other by an inner road at south.

The concept is to create a weekend house for the president, two of his family members and some of the government members. The project was seven villas in the beginnig, but three of them were cancalled and four of them were constructed.

The villas are two storey over ground and all of them have a service basement. In all villas ground floors are for living, study and kitchen and first floors are for bedroom and related facilities, but in two villas master suits are at the ground floor and connected with the garden. The closed area of the constructed villas are as following;

	Villa no: 1	: 1,640 m2
	Villa no: 2	: 900 m2
	Villa no: 3	: 900 m2
	Villa no: 4	: 1,114 m2

Elevations of the buildings were finished with composite system of external termal insulation and bases finished with clay bricks. All the window frames are of wood, double glazed, jamb and floor profiling were made of GRC.
