The land is 4,000 m2 and located at the shore of Bitez Bay in Bodrum peninsula, one of the most famous vacation areas of Turkey on Egean sea. According to the development plan of the region, the style of the buildings must refer to the traditional architecture of Bodrum and exterior shall be of stone and white rendering. Apart from this there were two old buildings in the area and these should be protected and renovated. We were asked to prepare a design composed of a hotel and separate small apartment units, giving service all through the year.

The main entrance of the complex is on the south east boundry and across the two existing buildings, which were renovated as reception and administration units of the complex. The hotel building is three storey including basement, which is actually the ground floor from the sea level and all the social facilities such as restaurant, bar and tv room are designed in this level with an outdoor swimming pool infront of it. On the first and second floors there are 28 double bed rooms and 4 suits, surrounding two internal courts with skylights at the top.

Apartment units are composed of two groups located at the both sides of the main entrance and each has 4 duplex apartments. Ground floors are for living and kitchen and there are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floors. Each apartment is 75 m2 with a porch infront of them.
