PRIVATE RESIDENCE IN ÇAMLICA - Istanbul
The villa has been designed in an existing
housing compound of a family in Çamlica at the Asian part
of Istanbul. Our design is three storey including basement and
as a result of the slope, two elevations of the basement floor
are exposed. The program of the house includes living, dining,
kitchen and tv rooms on the ground floor, three bedrooms, family
and study rooms and two bathrooms on the first floor and a turkish
bath, sauna, guest suit and technical rooms at the basement floor.
The garden around the house is at several different levels and
the guest suit has a private entrance from the basement level,
which is connected to the road by outdoor stairs.
Elevations of the building were finished with
composite system of external termal insulation and all the window
jambs and floor profiling were made of GRC. The roof covering
is of Ottomon type clay bricks and the rain collection system
is of copper.
